Mazda Motor Europe
Mazda Motor Europe is the regional headquarters of Mazda for the European market. It was established in 1989, and is now located in Leverkusen, Germany, on the banks of the river Rhine. But our roots in Europe go back much further, to 1967 to be exact, when Mazda began full-scale exports to the continent. Success followed quickly, with the establishment of Mazda Motor Parts Centre in Belgium in 1968 and the creation of Mazda Motor Deutschland in 1972. This led to the development of the Mazda 323 – the first Mazda designed specifically for the European market.
Mazda Motor Europe develops strategies, concepts and processes that successfully position Mazda in Europe – both for today and for the future - and coordinates the operations of all National Sales Companies and independent distributors in more than 30 countries and The international team of over 200 employees engages in daily dialogue with Mazda entities around Europe and with Mazda’s parent company in Japan to ensure flawless operations. MME has close relationships with all European Markets for quick decision-making in the community and to ensure that Mazda has ‘One Voice to the customer ’.

Mazda Research Europe
Mazda Research Europe (MRE) was founded in 1990 and is now located in Oberursel, Germany. It is Mazda’s product development arm and provides Japan with critical information about European market trends and technologies. As one of three Mazda global Research and Development centers, Mazda Research Europe works on developing new models – from first sketches to the finished vehicle. MRE’s mission is to develop unique products, ideally suited to each European market. There are currently around 100 employees in the 75,000 square meters facility that houses offices, workshops and design studios. Designers, engineers and technicians analyse technological trends as well as European tastes and driving habits to help create products and services that consider a wide variety of client points of view.

Mazda Logistics Europe
Mazda Motor Logistics Europe (MLE) is responsible for getting cars and parts to European customers as quickly and as efficiently as possible. MLE was founded in 1968, and is now located in Willebroek, Belgium. On top of its logistics activities, MLE offers financial and IT services to all Mazda’s National Sales Companies.
Mazda Motor Logistics Europe now employs over 350 employees, coming from various countries. MLE delivers spare parts directly to over 2300 dealers and independent distributors in more than 30 countries in Europe. Vehicles arrive in the ports of Barcelona, Antwerp and Zeebrugge and are further distributed to the dealers all over Europe. At present MLE is implementing plans to respond even faster, sharper and more efficient to the increasing demand of our customers. Therefore, we are regularly looking for new talents.
